First of all Thank you all Forum members for this wonderful job.
Today i received my BE visa. Please confirm me if there is any side effects in my new visa.

in my passport its written like this.

Ausübung einer selbstanigen Erwerbstätigkeit nicht gestattet.
Ausübung einer Beschäftigung ist gestattet gem § 9 abs. 1 Nr. 2 BeschVerfV.

Please confirm me.

Congrats on getting the BE !!!

I just had a question for you though. Was it that ur work permit was about to expire and u wanted to extend it and then asked the Ausländerbehörde to directly grant you a BE, i.e. Is the BE granted or issued only at the time of Visa Extension or?
Since my current work permit is valid till October, can I still go to Ausländerbehörde next week and ask them to grant me BE since I qualify for the same and need not wait till October for my work permit extension?

Just to confirm:
1) I have been living now in Germany for 5 years and 4 months.
2) I have studied here (Master studies) for 3 years from October 2002 till 2005.
3) Then since 2006 I have been employed and been working now for over 2 years and 1 month and paid by tax.
So, after reading the requirements, I guess I pretty much qualify for the same or?

You can contact your ABH now and apply for the same. I think you ae eligible now itself.All the best.
