Hi All,

I have following situation and requirements please respond incase you have experince with the process or knowldege about it .

Situation :
1. I am living in Germany since 2008 and have Aufenhaltserlaubnis till Jan 2013 . Its an open Aufenhaltserlaubnis meaning I can work for any firm in Germany.
In 2013 I will complete 5 years in Germany . However I started contributions to socail security only from 1 April 2011 meaning till date I have only 16 month contribution.

My wife will get a residence permit by next month however Aüslanderbehorde mentioned that she can not work for next two years.

Also I am In process of getting - B1 Certificate

Need:
Permanent EU Residence and elgibilty for spouse to work .

Questions :
1. Can I apply already for Blue card or do I have to wait till my current Aufenthaltserlaubins will last i.e. Jan 2013 ?
2. Incase I have to wait - shall I apply for Blue card or can I also apply for EU Permanent Residence (9A) ?
3. What is the best option for me considering the need I have i.e. flexibility of movement within EU and work permit for my wife ?
