Just forget Zuwanderungsgesetz in Germany. I had been following the Politicians and their statements,needless to say they are so short Sighted that they would finally end up screwing their own country with their Ideas and thoughts.

Well, they are fighting on the Point system , weather to have it or not,but if Zuwanderungsgesetz is itself not there, what is the point in Disagreeing or agreeing over it. For Example in Canada, the Immigrants can be easily blocked just by raising the required points and this way they can avoid foreigners.

Here in Deutschland, they Discuss too much and finally end up with hard and fast rules that it makes impossible for them to change even.

So guys, get ready to pack your bags togo else where.There are so many places and if not our homeland and lets do something there.
Just forget the Taxes that you had paid for 5 years.

Hats off to some of the politicians, with so much sight into the future of the country, but the opposition is what sucks and since there was no majority, they have to heed to these short sighted people.

You mentioned you followed the recent discussion in the media. Instead of writing a frustrated message about Germany and politicians, why don't you read all the articles again and check out for the names of the individual politicians who take part in the discussions? Then try to find their email addresses and write a poilite (!) letter to each of them individually, making them aware of the unresolved situation of the ~10.000 GC holders who are in Germany at present, asking them to include a specifinc rule in the new law which is addressing your concerns.

BTW: What's tax got to do with all this?

Politicians have no idea of what is happening with GCers and they are also not interested. As i before told this GC program is very well designed and shaped to get the most from GCers, give the least, cost/benefit analysis ;)

On the other hand trying to contact politicians is not a bad idea, but you need to speak/write good Deutsch to do that.

That was not a frustated message. I know the Names of the politicians as well but not their E-mail addresses. Am not sure what the individual politicians are upto. within the same party there are differences,and they warn each other even uber Zuwanderunggesetz.

I was actually following the PRESSE CLUB discussion also, there in the discussion there were people from the Presse, am sure they are least bothered but just intrstd in the Gossip Part.

I would love to write an E-mail to the respective politicians, but if they can disregard the word of their own country men and their party people, how would i at all assume that they would at least care to listen to me.

Tax, got to do with it ???... The GC's have been paying taxes and other contributions to the government, during their job period and now after 5 years they dont know what they are up to?. Ask any GC and see the uncertainity they have in their talk.

Do you think that these GC's are not looking for other alternates and are still waiting for the Verdict of these politicians.

I resign , saying that the Politicians and Country men of Deutschland have to decide according to their wish and look for the prosperity of their country.
