HI ,
I have applied for a german long term dependent visa . It is currently under process . My spouse has a blue card and i wished to know once i recieve the visa , what would be the next steps in Germany to complete the process . I have heard that i get a window of 3 months to get myself registerd at the city's Rathhaus . what would I be registering for and what all documents should I be needing ? Would also like to know if i can start working with my dependent visa or have to apply for a work permit in this case .

Those required documents you will get a list from local alien office (eg., like health insurance, vermieter bescheinigung etc.,). Would also like to know if i can start working with my dependent visa or have to apply for a work permit in this case . Yes you can start working with your dependent visa.
