Hi Everyone,

I am in the process of applying for my wife's visa next month. After going through the required document list, I have no clue what the following letters should look like:-

1. Your Cover Letter explaining the reason for your visa application.
2. Informal Invitation Letter from your spouse residing in the Federal Republic of Germany.

and one more question, is it necessary for me to take a Verpflichtungserklärung from the ABH also.

Please let me know if I can find some sample letters.

This things are not diffcult to arrange. Please provide your email address you will get both samples.

You do not need to show "verpflichtungserklärung" when you are applying for Spouse visa.

This sounds like students in early 20s asking for sample motivation letter or sample resume while applying for a University abroad or to a company for a job post.

If you all send the same letter to the embassy, dont you think it might make Embassy people skeptic?

I can recall what I wrote while inviting my batchmates to Germany.

- Remember those years while we were studying together in xyz Uni in India (connection)
- Have not seen each other for so many years (reason)
- Would like to make a small vacation with you in Germany. I have got succifient place to accomodate you (residence info so that they dont have to show hotel bookings)
- Take time from your busy schedule and feel invited to me in .... (invite)
- Looking forward to see you in Germany for ... week between ... to ... (duration info)
