I am new here in Germany, working as a software engineer.

I need help in searching room, I tried to search online but couldn't find any, I have to move ASAP.if someone know or have any room please let me know. 

I have one question also, if i share room will I be able to do the residence address registration with authorities or I need to rent an apartment and have agreement/contract?

Welcome in Berlin!

It is not easy to find a room, because there are many students in Berlin and many other people find Berlin attractive.

But you can do your residence registration even as a 'Untermieter' (subtenant) or with a hotel address. You will need an appointement to do it, otherwise you have to wait for hours at the registration office. Your employer should help you with this!

Try to find an apartment a bit outside the center, close to the public transport (best is U-Bahn or S-Bahn). This will improve your chances. Maybe this website helps...
