Hi, one of my junior flives in Wg. In the contract it is written that owner will clean the room ( profi cleaning) before he moves to the room and he needs to pay 125 euro for cleaning when he leaves the Wg. During his move, she was in holiday and got the key from her son. It was full of dust. We have shown her son and we send all the pictures to the owner. We have cleaned the room by ourself. Now time has come to leave the room but she is asking for 125 euro. Besides that she gave a TV but channel does not come because it very old. You know unity media has stopped broadcasting analog channel. There is special device needed to run channel on that old tv. That lady is saying she has given TV. This is not her business if channel come or not?

so we need suggestion. We don't want to pay single euro as she did not clean the room as it should be. By the way, renter is a student. Can he get free lawyer service if needed ?

In which city is your friend located? Almost in every big or small German city there is a "Vebraucherznetrale" call them and make an appointment with one of their lawyers, they only charge 15 euros and they will give you a legal opinion on your next move.
