I am following this website from long time and i could get all most all my answers.
Some thing which is bothering me is here.

I am in Germany working for a company.
Their were n numbers of things which has alraedy be done in terms of visa process.

>My husband and baby have applied for Family reuion visa in India on 8th August 2016.
>Documents reached germany after two month and no one informed me in germany that the documents are here, after i sent a mail atleast i could hear that all documents are here.
> Finally on september 15 i was called for visa interview with all the documents, payslips, accomodation contract, insurance letter and some other documents
> After that i kept on waiting and enquiring but nothing was happening for a month more, again i sent a mail which was bit emotional beacuse i was missing my baby like any thing.
> On November 10th i heard that they need probation completion letter from my company , i had no idea about this , if i knew this before i would have some how manager to get it much before but my bad luck.
> The same day i replied with the probabtion completion letter, made by my HR.

The question is as its alraedy more then 3 month, since my husband and baby applied visa on 8 th August and now its 21 November.

One last thing my probation period is ending on 27th of November but my company has no problem with my performance so they had made a letter saying , i have completed my probabtion period and i will continue on the same role.

What is next now, is their some thing else which i am forgetting, maybe if i know i can arrange , my company is really good they can help me in preparing any document, but their is no visa assistance their.

Any help will mean lot to me. Every day i am waiting for the visa approval mail but the day starts and ends

Basically you give the documents they (ABH) ask for. Since they have got probation completion letter from your company though it ends on 27th Nov (date wise), ABH should issue the visa now. The only thing you need to do is follow ups on weekly basis. I prefer to talk to them every Thursday as most of the ABHs work for longer hours on that day. You can try it out. 

You (directly your family) just need a final go. This may come anytime from now. Ask them to get ready with travel needs so that they can fly whenever the approval comes.

As I said earlier, no paper work until they ask for and according to me you just need to wait for the approval but nothing else... Good luck.

Thanks for your reply, for a moment I was happy to read the reply that visa will be granted soon.

I don't have local number of ABH to call and ask details, and mostly I don't speak german so I am sure even if I call, will be disappointed.
Only think I have is the Immigration officer email Id , because he is handling my case. When ever I am really pissed of and cannot do any thing then I write a mail to him to ask for update, but I am sure he will get irritated if I send to many emails. And I am afraid of any thing negative which can happen.


Not sure how to get status of visa without writing email to Immigration officer.

I had one more question, is their something like when he got my probation completion letter , he has send that to embassy (?) and then their is some more process their, or it's the just the Immigration officer who has to approve yes or no.

i have kinda same problem, but here what i can tell you is that even if you could have the number nobody would tell you anything about your visa status,due to the fact that they dont even pick up the calls,i tried to call them for over 1hr and no one picked up my call.[font="Helvetica Neue", Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif]they are acting really strange,

Hi guys,
I am new in this forum thing,but i am trying to find help on my hard time now,Iam website designer and mediaman who is employed in one of German limited companies,i have my resident permit as employed man,and i am in Germany 3 and half years and i still got valid resident permit until may 2018. lets now go to the real deal,i am the father of two sons and a husband of the mother of these two kids,but we were not married before and the older kid is 4 years old,for the fact that i was in germany for 3 years,working and going to visit my family few times,so for this on August this year i decided to go to my country and marry the mother of my kids so as to make easier for our family on way that may be she would have chance to come here and live with me with our beloved kids.

So we got married on 10th september and we went to A German Embassy on 15th september to apply for the family reunion visa with our kids,everythings went cool there in my country,and the woman who was dealing wwith us there told me to hurry up going back to germany to speed upo the application.So i did so,i was in germany on 28th september and on 29th september i recieved the letter from the Foreigh Authourity Office asking me to submit some documents like what i did during the application in my country with my wife,- 

Tax return- Flat contract- 3 months salary slip-Health insurance certificate-My passport copy-My registration of my address-Recommendation from my boss,-Work contract-Divorce paper if i was married before and so on..

and they told me to submit all these stuff withing a deadline of 27th october .so i was not having that Tax return thing,i had to go and ask from the finanzamt and i got it on 20th october,then on 21th october went to PHYSICALLY to the Foreign Authority office and drop all my documents.But now I am having hard situation on waiting for this due to the fact that i got suprise news today that my wife just found out that she is also pregnant again for 2 and a half month now,approxlly,,,so even the German Embassy doesnt know about this,what should i do?
i was in Tanzania in August until september and the application was on 15th od september.I submitted the documents to the Foreign Authority Office lets say on 21th october,so until now its 4 weeks are gone apart from the other waiting time from the first time at the Germany Embassy in my country.So guys any advice or an idea on how i can handle this situation?i  tried to send letter the the Foreign Authority to ask them that i would like to celebrate christmass and new year together with my family but no answers and i really want to stay near my family especially this time of end of year and now my wife is pregnant. all the years past,i tried to go to my country and be with my family in the time of welcoming new year,but this time it feels like we will be the saddest family ever ;)  


so i dont know...Thank you gusy in advance and please give me any kind of positive advice. Since i am also thinking of askingmy boss to leave germany for 5 or 6 months to go to my wife and kids,may be i will find people to rent my flat of three room so as not to loose it ,and not to loose my job too,its so hard for me at this time guys

Sweety, verifying probation letters or confirmation letters are totally on local ABHs. I am sure that they would not ask anyone to verify or cross check. There is no harm in asking for an update over an email once in a week. Instead of writing rude or harsh mail, write him or her a polite mail. For 200%, you will get positive response. As I said earlier, it can be today or in two days or in two weeks.

I am so happy that i cant express my feeling.
My Husband and baby visa is received last week.

I can just say 2 things to every one who has submitted for family reuion visa.
1> You have to be mentally prepared that you have to wait without any information , just follow the steps which is told to do.
2> Every 15days follow up to know that something is happeneing and the process is not stuck.
