RE: German Citizenship with 15 days of unemployment benefit?

Toggle
Hi

I looked through the forum but didnt manage to get information related to my question.

I am living in Germany since 9 years and have a PR. I am planning to apply for citizenship and i have met all the language, pension requirements. I will be giving the einbürgerungstest in a few weeks.

I changed job and have received 15 days unemployment benefits. I applied for unemployment benefit 3 months before my previous job ended and at the time I was not sure if was getting a new job. I received the unemployment benefit for a period of 15 days between my old and new job. I know according to the rule, the citizenship applicant should not have received any public benefits.  Has anyone dealt with this kind of situation ? Do I stand a chance ?

I want to apply along with my minor child (that is the main reason for the application as i am quite happy with my PR status)!

Was ist ALG1? If so, AFAIK there should be absolutely no problem whatsoever. Problem only arises with ALG2.
