Hi Everyone,

I have a peculiar question here. I am a PhD student in Germany on Student visa. It takes about 2.5 years more to complete my PhD. Later this year I might get married. I decided to bring my spouse to Germany on Spouse visa. How can she obtain a workpermit during these 2.5yrs of my PhD? Is it possible? Can a person get student visa to learn german for a year or so then can start searching for a job post studies like in Normal student visa?

I would be very thankful if you could provide some info on this.
