Urgent: Need Guidance on German National Spouse Visa Process

Hello Everyone,

I applied for Spouse Visa (National Visa) on 21st May 2015 and even after 4 weeks haven't heard anything from German Embassy, Chennai India. My husband is a blue card holder and we have each others name on passports as well. As I have H4 visa (U.S.) imprinted on my passport so I submitted one photocopy of that as well (will that help during marriage verification process?)

I am living here alone and want to move to my native place (different state). Can I write to embassy and ask them to change my address and explain them my conditon? Will they understand? I no longer live on the address mentioned in my passport and live at a new place. 

My husband contacted the Consulate in Germany and they said they have received my file (nothing else). 
I have not received any email from the embassy stating for any DD or further documents on marriage verification. Shall I wait for some more time or shall I write them to update on the status.

Please help.
