Hi All,

i am working in germany from 2 years and i am applying spouse visa in bangalore

the list in the website is asking date of birth certificate
 http://www.india.diplo.de/Vertretung/indien/en/06__Consu__Visa/visa__new/NATIONAL/NATIONAL.html

but date of birth certificate is not available. her date of birth is august 1985

is it mandatory to get spouse visa

They do accept 10th certificate as replacement for birth certificate.

I had this question when I was applying in Bangalore for my wife. They said don't need Birth certificate, 10th marks card/Degree mark card will suffice.
