Toggle
Hi All,

I worked from March 2012- Sep 2012 in Poland and from Sep 2012 till date i have been working in German for the same company, I have A2 level Germany Language, Unlimited Contract, blue card.

I have paid my social contribution in Poland as well as paying in Germany too.

Now If i Include my working period in Poland, i will be completeing 36 months now and paid 36 months of social contribution too, can i go and apply for NE, or should i wait till i complete 36 months of working in Germany.

Hallo,

NO.

Under EU rules, a person can be subject to only one country's social security laws at a time - so they must pay their social security contributions in that country only.

However, EU rules coordinate the national systems, to make sure people moving to another EU country do not lose their social security cover (for example pension rights and healthcare) and always know which national laws apply to them.

Mohamm
