Blue Card Application
Answer

Hello All,

I have received a job offer from my company in Frankfurt. This will be an intra-company transfer which will have me resign from my Indian office and join my company's German office.

I am currently applying for the German National Visa but have no idea about Blue Card application.

I am having a gross salary of Euro 40k with 15% variable bonus. My univ is also registered under the Anabin database. Can someone who has applied for a Blue Card guide me with the process?

Can I apply for Blue Card during the process of my Employment Visa Application? If not, how can I apply?

Any support will be extremely helpful.

Thanks in advance,

Have patience Karthik and dont try to take all the advantages in a single opportunity. If it is a Company driven transfer then you have to go with the Company Norms and have the long term visa which they will support you. Once you are here and have worked for sometime, apply for the Blue card.

You cannot have parallel Visa Processings.

I was only trying to understand if there is an option to apply for blue card directly. I understand that one can apply for the Blue Card in Germany after securing the German National Visa. But I also seem to find people who have secured Blue Card directly? Is my understanding right?

Hi Karsun,

Nice to hear that you are planning to apply for Blue Card. Your salary scale is ok if you are information and communication specialist/ engineer/ mathematician or doctor of medicine/ researcher. Otherwise you need to show around 48K package for other profession.

As far i can understand you are having normal work permit residence visa now. Please note that, it is possible to transfer from other residence permit to Blue card, if you meet the requirement. Take your offer letter, residence contract, insurance paper, passport & visit ABH frankfurt. They are little bit rude, but try to convince them.

All the best with your application. Be positive....
