Dear All,

I have a very basic query.
Can "visa start date" ,mentioned on type D visa, be used for entering into Germany ?

For example, if my visa is from 28th September , can I travel and enter into Germany on 28th or I must enter on 29th (one day after start date) ?

Thanks cebit,

That means, I can enter any day( lets say, 10th October ) starting from 28th untlil the visa is valid.
I hope i understood it right.

Thank you. Actually mine is an overnight flight. It starts on 23rd night but will reach on 24th in frankfurt.
I hope that is not a problem.
