Dear friends,

I have a 3 years contract with a university in Germany, which started 2 months ago. Hence, until now I have been working with normal work permit. 

Can I switch to blue card, while I am in Germany? As I saw somewhere, I should have applied for it before coming to Germany! Is that right?
My contract satisfies all the other conditions.

yes you can apply for it while being in Germany.
