In German CV format what comes first

Persönliche Datum:
Schule:
Studium:
Berufserfahrung:
        OR

B )
Persönliche Datum:
Berufserfanrung:
Studium:
Schule:

Also as per Indian schooling system we have 12 year school education with X and XII so how can we mention in German CV.Can we mention XII as Abitur?

Also i have seen in German CV like
1991-2001: Abitur,Schule name
Can i mention like this with Indian schooling system
1989-2001: Abitur,Schule name

Hi,

I do not think if there is some hard and fast rule. I always kept in chronologic:

Persönliche Informationen
Studium (I mentioned MS and BE, never schooling)
Berufliche Erfahrung
Praktika, Masterarbeit, Schulung und Zertifikate (Schulung = training)
Kenntnisse
Sprachen

When an online resume application almost forced me to write schooling then I always chose "others", selected Abitur and in comments wrote exactly what it was mentioned on certificate (higher secondary etc)

Leave a blank space after , and .
Also while mentioning duration 1991-2001, I left a blank space before and after hyphen. I actually did not use a hyphen but a dash or minus (hyphenisation is used to seperate words and dashes for numbers) Since I was always confused about usage of hyphen and dashes while writing with hand and while using a computer program. The best way would be to type your resume in MS-Word and it will sugget about hyphenisation (I admit that I trusted it blindly)

Ciao

Thank you Tonygill for the information.

I thought in German CV one always mention the the schooling.

You ave mentioned that for Befufliche Erfahrung you have mentioned Pratika,Masterarbeit etc but don't you think in this one mentions the  job title and employer name  ?

Also in many German CV there are always 2 columns Studium und Ausbildung AND Berufsausbildung

So if i mention all my University details n Ausbildung what should i mention in Berufsausbildung ?

If you want to get it right, just use the official European format, it's the same that I use since more than 7 years now, and I just update it every now and then: http://europass.cedefop.europa.eu/en/documents/curriculum-vitae/templates-instructions
