Advice to those who seek job on Blue Card

Please consider this only as an advice.

If you are having a good job and settled then advice not to look for Blue card and jobs here as there are many people who left there good jobs and came here on Blue Card and were fired after few months.
There are many factors which needs to be considered. The work culture here is entirely different and for a job one needs to be really good in German language and not just basic language skill is enough.
Also on Blue Card the companies try to hire people on low salaries as there are already many application from from East European countries especially in IT field so if you are from India or China or any Asian countries then you need to have exceptionally high qualification and with such qualification you would find good job anywhere in world then why Germany ?
The cost of living in Germany is too high and take home is only 55% of gross you earn and if you are with family then nothing is left to save after you pay the high rent and other expenses out of this 55%.

Now many have the impression that in Germany one can get unemployment benefits,so be very clear that for this you are eligible only when you work for few years and also get this benefit only for 6 months and that too 60% of net income which is nothing what you dream and after 6 months still if you cannot find a job then the lady sitting at Arbeitsamt will tell a SAP consultant to go for any cleaning job and they cannot provide any more enemployment benefits.

Also the tricks which work in US with false resume and experience does not work here and Germans are very smart and catch you immediately. This is the case of a guy in our office who was fired last month and his resume showed 3yr experience in India and 6yr US experience but was caught immediately when it came to practical working knowledge.

Most of those seeking Greener Pastures with Blue Card end up not only loosing a good earning job in their home country but also a good amount of savings which they spend initially to the consultants, travel and cost of living and also add the return ticket.
So be careful many consultants coming up in Indian Metros and making money in the name of Blue Card.
