Hi,

I was wondering about how long the spouse of the Blue card holder can stay outside the EU. It used to be 6 months at the max before the blue card visa came into existence. I was hoping if it had changed. Can anyone please shed some light on this? Thanks!

Can the Blue Card become invalid after an extended stay outside the EU?

Blue Card EU holders may stay outside the EU for up to twelve months without the residence permit becoming invalid.What about the spouse of Blue Card holder, how long can they stay outside EU before their visa becomes invalid?
