Hi Friends,

I am writing this message from USA. Previously I was in Germany. I have done my Master's in Technical Management in Emden, Germany from 2003-2004. After that I worked in Germany until October 2006 on work permit. 

I moved to USA in october 2006. I got 6 years experience in USA. I would like to know if I get a job in Germany is it good to apply for normal work permit or blue card. 

How long will it take to get permanent residence - I read it is 2-3years. I understand that I can work for any employer in Germany if I get this(please correct me if I am wrong). How long will it take from there to get citizenship/passport! Is it advisable to take work permit or blue card ! which is faster way to citizenship!

Will my previous stay in Germany add to my citizenship requirement if I plan to reside in Germany in future.

you will get a blue card.

earlier stay in germany will not count for citizenship. u require 7 years of residence. search this forum to be sure.

As cebit said your previous stay will not be counted for EB.
Citizenship rules are same irrespective of blue card or work permit.
