Visa Questions

RE: Minimum salary required to stay in Germany

Toggle
Hi all,

I am a doctoral student in Germany and my wife's working contract will be expired in January and she doesn't have dependent visa but has an independent work permit. She wants to stay further for 4 months,  in this case, how much does she have to earn minimum per month if she has to stay here after the current contract is over?

Your reply is highly appreciated.

Arun

Hi arun,

can you provide some details on what kind of specific permit she has?  If she has BE, she could even stay here with a 400 € mini job.

Hi Aalvarez,

Thank you for the reply. She has Masters in Computer Applications degree from India but in Germany, this is not considered as Masters equivalent.

I doubt. Please ask concerned authorities.

Many Indians come directly to Germany for PhD after completing their Masters in India. Moreover, my bachelor was considered equal in Germany, so why is there exception for Masters?
