Dear forum members,

I used to be a member of this forum, and I logged with a new username.
I have a question about renewal of passport and the new eAT:

When I go to renew my passport at the consulate, I get the new passport and together with it the old passport.
How and when in relation to that I have to apply at the ABH for the new eAT (Niederlassungserlaubnis)
I was reading that until I get the eAT it can take up to 6 weeks, do I get a temporary stay permit from the ABH in the meanwhile?
