Dear all;

I have applied for German Citizenship 3 months ago in Berlin (Bezirk Charlottenburg), and I provided all the required docuements, but still waiting for an answer.

Does anyone knows how long does it take (in average) the complete "einbürgerungsantrag" process?

why did you apply in Charlottenburg? Is it not necessary to apply in ABH Berlin for that?

About the times, just do a search in the forum, there is a lot of detailed cases explained step by step.

Hello Yo,
I understand that the citizenship process is not handled by ABH in Berlin as it is only meant for dealing with immigrants.

@endy01

the guy at the Einbürgerungsamt told me last week that in Berlin, they are asked to process the application within 6 months, so you got maximum 3 more months to go.
