Hi Team,

I have applied for Dependent Visa. I have received a mail from the Consulate stating they would require to do marriage verification. I have paid the required DD amount for the same and they have acknowledged the same on 26th Feb'2020. Kindly help me in understanding the process further. I had few questions as below:
a. How long would it take?
b.Would someone come home to verify?/ If yes, what all questions can be asked.
c. Do i need to keep any set of documents ready ?

it will take generally we say 12 weeks. But if your home and your husband home near to embassy location, then it vl b within 4 weeks apprx. 

so keep finger crossed.

b.Would someone come home to verify?/ If yes, what all questions can be asked.

Sure a lawyer vl visit your home and your hubby home and also ask your neighbours regarding the marriage held.

c. Do i need to keep any set of documents ready ?

Keep the marriage albums and the documents u submitted to embassy.
