Is seperate visa appointment needed for children in Bangalore embassy?

Hi,
I have job offer from Germany and want to to move there with my wife and 2 children (age 6 and 10).

My question is: do I need to book seperate appointment for my 2 children? Or, can they go along with my or my wife's appointment?

Yes you need 2 different appointments for kids. As per Consulate website, if children are above 2 years of age, then separate appointment is needed.

You need NOT take 2 seperate appointments for your kids...One kid can accompany with your appointment and one with your wife's...I went last week to Chennai consulate with the same process...So don't need to take seperate appointments for your kids... In fact you can see in your appointment email itself, kids below 12 years DON'T require a seperate appointment
