Where to apply for the blue card?

Hello all,

I am originally from China and have been working for 6 years before attending to a university in Spain. I graduated in Spain this year but my student residence is still valid.

I got a work contract with a Berlin-based company. The agency they work with asked me to apply for the blue card.

However should I go back to my home country for the entry visa to Germany or should I stay in Spain for it? Even though the procedure seems to be the same and the documentation requirement is similar, I wonder if there is a difference in terms of processing time?
